Senior Paraplanner – Sydney recruitment
An exciting and challenging position has become available for an experienced Paraplanner to join our Sydney team. Your role will be to provide quality and timely strategic financial plans for financial advisers in NSW and occasionally, a national basis depending on work flow. You will be working with a motivated team in Sydney as well as having a high level of support from the broader national team. It is imperative that you can be flexible and adaptable to deal with changing priorities in the business. You will provide direction with your technical knowledge and be able to receive direction in your work with an ethic of continuous learning and development. You will also demonstrate a keen to excel in delivering a high level of service to the advisers.
The responsibilities in the role will be;
- Develop strategically accurate and timely Statements of Advice (SoA's);
- Providing technical and compliance support to advisers and peers
- Active participation in process improvements within the team
- Supporting special projects
- Engaging in continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
To be successful in the role you will have;
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong technical skills and the ability to prepare strategic SOA's
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with COIN would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen
- An advanced diploma in Financial planning If you are working towards a CFP that would be favourable.
