Senior Patent Operations Administrator Job in Foster City 94404, California US

The Senior Patent Operations Administrator will be responsible to oversee all administrative functions of our core patent operations, including data entry, case docketing, file management, invoice processing and title administration.  In addition to the core operations, the candidate will be responsible completing audit operations, for maintaining and updating our outside counsel guidelines, conducting research on patent portfolios and companies, handling annual chargebacks with parent company, compiling reports, contribute to development of new tools and procedures for the department, classifying inventions and maintaining an internal classification index, and handling special projects.  
 

This is an exciting job opportunity for a seasoned patent operations leader who is looking to take the patent bar exam and gain prosecution experience in addition to their duties in handling administration for the patent group.  This is also an exciting job opportunity for a newly minted patent agent who has a paralegal background and who has worked in-house in a patent operation, where they are seeking to gain patent prosecution experience while also still be willing to handle patent administrative duties for the department.
