The Company
A leading Investment Management firm is seeking an experience Performance analyst to join their fixed income team in a growing department. They are looking for someone with the desire to progress and develop within the team, as well as helping other team members.
The role
As a Fixed Income Performance Analyst your major accountabilities will include:
- Calculate and report performance and attribution on Fixed Income Funds.
- Report monthly performance and attribution to investment teams and liaise with fund managers.
- There will be an element of deputising and supervision, as well as forging close relationships with the front office.
- Deputising for the manager will include attending internal client meetings, SLA reviews , KPI monitoring, risk and compliance assessments, and general team administration.
- Attend meetings with fund managers to discuss performance of their funds
- Identify deficiencies in the performance data processes and develop solutions to improve data these processes
- Stay abreast of GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards)
The Person
As a Fixed Income Performance Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Degree qualified
- Experise within Fixed Income
- Experience gained in Fixed Income Performance Measurement, Analytics and Attribution.
- Able to understand and interpret attribution reports.
- Able to show initiative in developing new services and analyses for the Front Office
- Experience of Performance systems and data vendor systems such as Lipper, Datastream, Bloomberg, Statpro, Factset.
- Advanced Excel skills, VBA, SQL
