Senior Performance Analyst / Team Leader / VP recruitment
Our client in Singapore will support regional partners, focusing heavily on Australia and Japan, in order to insure global coverage of all performance functions (inclusive of portfolio and benchmark return centralization and calculation, attribution provision, GIPS and daily flash/analytics).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely provision of monthly performance (portfolio and benchmark) for Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong managed and reported mutual funds and institutional clients.
- Daily performance provision internal (PMG/GCG/RQA) for representative accounts.
- Centralization of data to TRR tables.
- Maintain BEP exceptions and integrity.
- Maintain Stat-Pro composite data; liaise with global team to follow consistent process/reports.
- Support local enquiries from reporting, PMG and GCG teams regarding performance data.
- Utilize the internal system toolset to configure reports and output from the centralized repository (TRR) replacing manual and peripheral reporting tools.
- Provide training support to team members less familiar with calculation and reporting tools.
- Support team development and engagement with internal clients/dependents.
- Work with global functional leads to ensure consistency of engagement and processes in the local offices.
- Update asset transfers to internal system and process portfolio group changes.
Requirements:
- Strong performance, PnL and attribution knowledge of all investment instrument types
- Strong SQL and VBA skills important, as much of the role is extracting and automating data feeds and output.
- In depth knowledge of tools including PnL, attribution and performance reporting functionality is important for success in the role.
- Excel skills to advanced level expected – including familiarity with macros, pivot tables and problem findings.
- Confident self-motivated individual capable of interacting with senior internal and external clients and dependents to provide excellent service culture.
- Strong communication skills
