Senior Performance Analyst
My client is a leading investment manager based in the city. There is a need for a performance analyst to join the firm on a short term 2 month contract. The role will be to work as a senior performance analyst.
The main purpose of the role will be to work on an on-going project to deliver performance reporting and multi-attribution analysis to a range of clients. There will be a need for the individual to build relationships with the client fund managers and investment operations teams.
Principal duties of the role will include calculation and analysis of performance and attribution using both a bespoke system as well as manual spread sheets. There will also be the need to maintain the threshold and competency status within FSA guidelines as well as carry out any further tasks designated to you by the line manager.
This role requires someone who comes from an asset management background ideally from a previous performance analysis position. Experience of equity attribution will be a necessity as well as knowledge of calculations and usage of return based statistics. Please not that this is a short term contract of 6-8 weeks and therefore a short or no notice period would be greatly favoured.
