Senior Performance and Talent Consultant  (Systems and Technology)

Job Summary:

The Senior Performance and Talent Consultant  (Systems and Technology) is responsible for performance and learning programs and solutions designed to support key business operating systems, primarily the introduction of a new e-business suite across the entire organization.  The Senior Performance and Talent Consultant will work with external learning partners, designated business unit subject matter experts (SME’s), business unit leaders, and IT professionals to design, build, deploy, measure, and sustain necessary technical skills across the entire organization. 


Key Responsibilities:

· Consult with IT and business unit’s to determine optimal learning design and delivery methods; incorporating the use of formal and informal learning strategies into the overall learning solution plans
· Incorporate innovative and advanced knowledge and experience of contemporary adult learning principles and technology practices into learning solutions such as instructor led training (ILT) and elearning programs.
· In partnership with external learning design partner, design and deploy courseware utilizing a variety of online delivery methods including, but not limited to, web, mobile delivery, and virtual classroom
· Assist with the identification, planning and coordination of training-related activities in conjunction with system development timelines, class size limits, business demands, and geographical limitations.
· Consult with business units and IT on appropriate strategies to communicate about OneSystem (ebusiness suite) expectations, training, and overall change adoption.
· Partner with business unit SMEs and product SME’s on upcoming system developments and attend relevant knowledge transfer sessions
· Partner with vendors to ensure receipt of designated deliverables within stated timelines and budget. Manage training delivery project plans and timelines across the enterprise.
· Consult with business units, IT and others to develop mechanisms to sustain technical knowledge across the organization – this includes, but is not limited to, developing train-the-trainer networks, ensuring updated elearning content, and establishing job function technical training curriculum
· Measure learning program effectiveness and identify areas of improvement
· Participates in cross functional projects designed to enable the performance of managers, employees, and leaders within the organization

 

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:

· Experience with electronic learning, virtual collaboration tools, and talent management systems. A Bachelor's degree with emphasis in education, business or other relevant technical field.

· A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in training, adult education, and/or human resources with a clear emphasis on training and development.

· A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in conducting needs analysis’, instructional design, delivering learning solutions, and evaluating program effectiveness.

· Demonstrated use of e-learning development software (Lectora, Captivate, JavaScript, Adobe eLearning Suite and /or Flash) and virtual collaboration tools

· Demonstrated proficiency in adult learning techniques and multiple delivery channels (i.e. electronic learning, classroom learning, blended learning)

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Excellent project management and change agility skills

· Demonstrated proficiency working within a matrixed organization and a self-directed work environment

· Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

· Healthcare industry  experience a plus

· Prior experience designing and deploying large-scale technical training across the Enterprise or as part of an MA activity.

· Experience with Oracle systems and Oracle User Productivity Kit tools
