Key Activities/Elements
1. Client Service
-Assume ownership over client projects and BBH initiatives to ensure timely expected results. This includes research and development, project tracking, and answering queries from the client/project team.
-Field and respond to client inquiries; Use judgment to escalate issues as needed.
-Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
-Demonstrate a sound understanding of BBH products and services.
2. Risk and Control
-Ensure the accurate and timely performance measurement, 30 SEC yields, risk statistics, and attribution reporting. This is accomplished through review of Performance Analyst's reconciliation and analysis of the data source for the calculations as well as the prepared reporting of supporting documentation.
-Conduct reviews of internal and external audit requests promptly and accurately.
-Ensure adherence to all established procedures and controls.

-Evaluate services and workflows related to performance improvement including productivity, quality, profitability and cost avoidance.
-Provide cross-functional consultation across multiple operational areas to ensure adherence to standard, definitions, and methodologies.
-Ensure data analysis and reporting needs (including data mining, relational database development, file transfer preparation, recommendation on operational improvements or compliance issues) are executed to support the operational functions as well as client requirements.
-Demonstrate full knowledge of various internal systems and applications as they relate to the responsibilities of the Performance Measurement Attribution Analytics Group.
-Develop new client requirements leading to automated final solutions.
-Use relevant internal technology solutions to effectively and efficiently manage client inquiries.
-Identify ways to improve productivity and efficiency within the department.
-Assist in the coordination of new business and product implementations and conversions.
4.Team work
-Work with the Performance Analysts to ensure the quantity and quality of his/her output meets Performance Manager's expectations.
-Support the Performance Manager on various projects and issues.
-Develop key internal relationships to proactively aid in the resolution of client issues.
-Proactively participate in meetings to accomplish the objective set forth.
5. Leadership/ Staff Supervision
-Oversee day to day operations of the fund groups by managing the workflow and overseeing a staff of 2 or more Performance Analysts and Representatives.
-Conduct performance management/reviews for assigned staff.
-Develop a structured team that addresses succession planning, personal/career growth, and diversification of skill/responsibilities.
-Recruit staff to support new business growth, focusing on individual with an understanding of performance measurement/attribution and proven analytical skill/operational experience.
-Develop key internal relationships to proactively aid in the resolution of client issues.
-Promote a cohesive team atmosphere through exhibiting strong leadership, effective communication, professionalism, and development of own career path.
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
-BA/BS degree (finance or accounting concentration preferred), and/or equivalent work experience.
-A minimum of 6 years mutual fund industry experience with at least 2 in a mutual fund accounting or performance measurement related role.
-Minimum of 2 year experience in a supervisory role
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
-Knowledge of SEC N-1A and N-2 requirements of performance and calculations, separate account/portfolio performance, risk statistics, and attribution.
-Analytical ability and independent problem solving skills.
-Ability to plan and prioritize assignments through multi-tasking while dealing with competing deadlines.
-Written and oral communication skills.
-Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
-Technical proficiency of PACE performance systems, Eagle Star Accounting System, Omega Accounting System, Bloomberg, yield calculators are a plus.
-Exceptional Client service skills.
