Senior Physical Crude Trader, London

My client, a well established energy house, is in the process of developing an oil trading desk in London.  They are seeking an experienced individual from within physical crude markets, who could help build and lead a North Sea Crude book.

 

A successful candidate would ideally have an extensive trading and trading operations experience, and a comfortable understanding of the workings of North Sea and European crude markets.

 

Responsibilities of Crude Oil Trader, North Sea Physical Markets, London role:

 

·        Trading physical North Sea crude oil in order to maximize commercial revenue

·        Establish and maintain strong commercial relationships

·        Adopting appropriate trading and analysis strategies with a view to maximize commercial revenue

·        Provide support to business development teams

·        Work closely with management and parallel business units

 

Skills / Attributes required for Crude Oil Trader, North Sea Physical Markets, London role:

   

·      Extensive experience across North Sea and European physical crude markets

·      Proven track record, and able to demonstrate consistent returns

·        Solid understanding of refinery Economics

·        Be willing to be based in London
