SENIOR PHYSICAL THERAPIST

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Assists the Manager, Director and Supervisors in the management and coordination of daily department operations. Supervises staff and monitors the quality of care. Responsible for providing optimum patient care in accordance with the standards of Mercy Health System, the State of Pennsylvania and the APTA/AOTA.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Physical/Occupational therapy program with a Bachelors or Masters? Degree
2 years experience as a therapist; Rehab experience required.
Successful completion of all clinical education
Other Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skill in application of therapy techniques
Excellent evaluation skills
Motor coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate tools and material while instructing patients
Knowledge of theoretical principles of therapy
License, Registration and Certification:
Licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
CPR Certification
