Job Summary:
The Senior Physician is responsible for providing diagnoses, medical treatment and care of inmate patients at a correctional institution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Physician in accordance with Florida Statute 458, AND
- Two (2) years of post-licensure professional experience in the practice of medicine.
Certification by a recognized board in a medical specialty area can substitute for the required experience. Experience in a foreign country may be substituted for the required experience upon the approval of the Medical Director.
Successful applicant must pass a background screening and fingerprinting. Successful completion of a urine drug test will be a condition of employment.
