- Serve as a representative of engine plant model needs of the vehicle groups.
- Define and Execute projects to address identified needs related to engine model configuration, interface, and performance requirements.
- Configure engine plant models for integration in vehicle system models.
- Participate in verification of engine plant model performance and vehicle system model performance.
- Support vehicle groups and outside resources to ensure implementation of engine plant models is successful.
What It Takes
- 5 years of Plant modeling experience.
- Experience applying systems engineering principles.
- Engine cycle simulation modeling experience.
- Strong thermodynamics aptitude and controls.
- Experience in 1D performance modeling and analysis.
- Background in off-highway heavy duty diesel engines and vehicles.
- An advanced degree.
- Experience with the following codes: GT-POWER, LMS AMESim, LMS Virtual.Lab, MSC.EASY5, Matlab/Simulink, Kuli.
