Senior Policy Analyst – UK Economic Policy recruitment
In this role you will be leading a group of analysts, focusing on fiscal, legislative, regulatory and political affairs related to debt management . You will lead the campaign to liaise with and build a range of client contacts and provide Policy intelligence to a range of clients and contacts, which a particular focus on credit focused funds and investment teams.
This is a Senior role therefore you should have excellent knowledge of governmental debt management policy, be able to demonstrate networking and analytical skills, and most importantly understand interaction between the worlds of policy and financial markets. You will be considered for this role if you have experience in :-
- Journalism, Government, Consulting
- Gathering, analysing and interpreting financial market data
- Producing written reports analysing and interpreting developments in financial markets
- Producing evidence-based policy analysis, for example in central government
- Managing client relationships.
Applicants should have exposure to sovereign debt management issues
The project manager/senior policy analyst will be an integral part of the team in London and will have responsibilities in the areas of communications, research and government relations. Experience working with a provider of policy intelligence to hedge funds/investment banks/asset managers will put you at an advantage for this role.
