This exciting opportunity is with an organisation that has been established to provide advice to the government on a range of legislation.
Working within the policy team you will be responsible for identifying and resolving key policy issues through collaboration across a number of delivery areas within the organisation.
As a Senior Policy Officer, you will have experience providing high level coordination, policy advice and stakeholder liaison services to various government programs, as well as preparing and writing ministerial briefs and correspondence.
You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills and preferably be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline with a sound knowledge of project management principles. Ideally, you will have experience at all levels of government including, public policy process, government and parliamentary processes and policy development.
