Senior Portfolio Analyst, Corporate Banking
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Analytics, a significant amount of operational processing is required to extract portfolio data for strategic decisions to be made. Thus the role requires intelligent scoping and strong delivery ownership. The role will also fuel the decisioning process for strategic Book growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extracting corporate data, including:
- Identification of data sources
Implementation of data governance - Data collation, clean up, remediation
- Due Diligence data evidencing
- Data analysis, maintenance, storage
- Help manage process change
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Analytics, Data Mining and Data Insights applied to Commercial, Retail banking
- SAS (Base, Macro), SQL, Excel
Data management technology operations including MI reporting, database integration workflow
Project and relationship management skills - Experience of delivering results in a fast moving environment with changing stakeholder requirements
- Process re-engineering
- UK Financial Services
DESIRABLE:
- Risk data analysis (SAS and SQL)
Excel VBA - Statistical Modelling and Data Mining
- Senior stakeholder management skills
- Ability to shape and manage large data volumes
- Strong business analysis and problem solving skills
- Great interpersonal communication skills
