Senior Portfolio Manager Agribusiness recruitment
Your main tasks in this position are:
- Independent and active management of dedicated investment strategies with full performance responsibility
- Independent / autonomous stock picking (bottom-up) according to a systematic investment process
- Sales and marketing support (client visits, road shows, presentations and speeches, publications) as representative of your products
- Continuous development of sustainable food agribusiness investment strategy in cooperation with SAM Research and the Product Development Team
- Review of investment process and definition of measurements that strengthen the performance and credibility of respective investment strategies
- Responsibility of company wide projects and close interaction with equity team of Robeco
- Writing monthly reports and generating ‘data compilations’ for the Risk Management
Being a self-motivated and creative investment specialist with a profound knowledge of financial markets, you possess an academic degree or a similar higher educational background in an economic discipline. With at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in food agribusiness related industry sectors, you have built up a successful personal track record in managing assets. You are an independent personality that develops and expresses a view and translates expectations into a consistent investment approach. As a motivated team player you share your ideas and opinions within the team. Your active communication style further helps to proactively promote your investment strategy to potential clients and to raise its internal and external awareness. A strong understanding of tools for portfolio and risk management as well as for trading is a must. Besides a high result-orientation you are also skilled and committed to contribute to the success of the company by working in groups that aim to improve the investment process or to develop new product ideas. You are a CFA Charterholder and possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in German which enables you to operate in SAM’s international surrounding.
