Senior Portfolio Manager
Job Description: * Preparing fundamental analysis of companies from the equity and bond perspective including bankruptcy recovery analysis * Evaluating potential shorts/hedges against long portfolio * Communicating with subject companies, Wall Street analysts and industry experts * Presenting investment recommendations to the firm's partners and investment committee * Performing assessment and due diligence of new private equity and special situation investment opportunities * Focusing on personnel selection and financial review of ongoing operations for the various portfolio companies * Developing a creative approach to researching below investment grade credits, fallen angels and distressed credits Job Requirements: * An MBA is required * CFA is highly preferred * 6+ years of experience with an investment bank, consulting firm, hedge fund, or private equity firm * Excellent MS Excel data management skills For more than 45 years, Kforce has been providing professional staffing services based upon our belief that great people equal great results.
