Senior Private Banking Business Analyst recruitment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work under a regional / global team environment and be able to communicate and influence effectively in a matrix environment. This may include running meetings with key business stakeholders
Accountable for key business analysis activities in various strategic technology projects. Initial focus is a key project for HK / SG, which cuts across different domains with primary objective to enable intraday client position tracking and viewing capability for our client advisors covering all major private banking products
Build and maintain long-term relationships with multiple stakeholders
Support for project management tasks especially in the areas of quality control of deliverables, inter-team dependency and cross-functional task planning and coordination for major projects
Lead cross functional / divisional projects and teams as and when required

REQUIREMENTS:

University degree in Business / MIS, Science or Engineering
10+ years’ experience in IT project and stakeholder management in the financial services industry for complex / international projects and exposed to front office applications such as order management, settlement and client position keeping system within real-time processing environment
Ideally have worked for 1st tier private / wealth management bank. Advantage to have specific experience in implementing wealth management core systems. Also advantageous to have end to end operational and process knowledge for different financial products plus good understanding of different asset classes e.g. FX / MM, Cash Equities, OTC products, funds, etc
In depth experience on different types of implementation and different stages of development life cycle. System functional design and basic project management experience such as managing financial and running stakeholders’ meeting is a must
Should have technical background, a good appreciation of technology and understanding of non-functional requirements to make sound assessment on possible solutions and be able to challenge requirements and design if necessary
