Senior Private Equity Investment Professional recruitment
Alternative Funds Advisory (AFA) provides multi-manager solutions in private equity and infrastructure within IPE of UBS Global Asset Management. We are looking for a senior investment professional in private equity fund investments based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
Management of our Asian private equity and emerging regions exposure with a dedicated focus on China, including RMB funds, India and Pan Asia. As part of a global team, the role will include due diligence on primary and secondary investments across diversified global private equity strategies. The job profile includes portfolio management work, industry research, and systematic market coverage in the core regions. Such senior profile goes along with business development and client facing roles.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have long term experience in private equity fund investing, direct transactions and related areas such as corporate finance, management consultancy, or other alternative assets. The role requires high visibility in the international private equity field and excellent industry networks with fund mangers in the core region, including RMB funds. The candidate will be able to show an impressive personal track record in managing private equity portfolios. The candidate brings along extensive financial experience, strong analytical skills, and detailed understanding of business concepts. The candidate has strong client interaction and communication skills. The candidate proved international experience and a capability to work as part of a specialized global team.
The role requires a university degree in business administration, finance, economics or an MBA in combination with mathematics or natural science. 15 years of experience preferably with 5-10 years of relevant experience in Private Equity. Language skills require fluency in English and preferably in Mandarin.
