Description:

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our corporate engineering team in Lakeville, MA.

Position Summary: Provide the technical leadership and expertise in support of the Cooperative’s processing systems in both the beverage and cranberry conversion network. Ensure current processing assets are maintained and improved; new products and packages are commercialized successfully and capital projects and purchases are properly managed.
Provides direction and leadership directly and through project management to process engineers and project team members.  Maintains awareness on new technologies of benefit to OSC and effectively communicates and champions the business case of the application of such technologies at OSC.  Leads the commercialization of key process technologies.  Coaches and develops other engineers and/or team members at OSC facilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for long term strategic planning for the cooperative processing platforms. 
2. Project Management – from concept through completion. Including equipment selection, performance guarantees,vendor selection and vendor accountability.  Work with cross functional teams of internal and external resources to optimize OSC benefits.
3. Strategic planning of facility requirements for the Conversion and Bevnet plants to include continuous improvement of the performance of existing technologies and technical systems; analysis and capacity planning of current plant capacities.
4. Partnership with RD to understand and stay current with industry changes and trends.
5. Hold self and other accountable to project / CSI timelines and initiatives. Track timelines and savings commitments. Lead technical problem solving teams.

Minimum Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Chemical Engineering and 8 or more years of experience working in food/beverage engineering roles
• Strategic/Innovative Thinking and Planning
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Ability to read and generate technical and equipment drawings
• Hands-on experience working with vendors and proven negotiation skills
• Ability to Work as Team Member, Ability to Work and Interact Closely with Leadership Team
• Familiarity with Federal and State Regulations (FDA, USDA, OSHA, etc)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills w/ability to influence and be persuasive, capable of interfacing with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of the following applications is desirable SAP, Excel, CAD, Visio, SPC and web technologies 
• Ability to facilitate meetings and conference calls
• Job will require travel
