Nynas is experiencing significant growth, with several investment projects planned within the near future. The Department of Process Engineering are looking to increase their staff with a Senior Process Engineer in order to meet both short and long term demands in their area of competence.
The placement of the position is in Nynäshamn/Stockholm, however missions may take place at other sites within the Nynas organization.
Areas of responsibility
As a Senior Process Engineer you hold responsibility for pre-studies, process design and process analysis towards larger projects with the objective to develop and improve production processes. You are also expected to lead the strategic discussion around technical aspects of production processes, as well as part take in the implementation of the decided strategy.
As a senior member of the Process Engineering staff, an important responsibility is to mentor, share your experience, and facilitate the knowledge acquisition of the less experienced process engineers at Nynas.
Background and personal qualities
· Academic Degree within Chemical or Process Engineering
· At least 10 years’ experience as a Process Engineer, preferably within refinery or petrochemical industry
· Experience from simulation tools such as Hysys, in addition to good IT literacy
· Fluent in English, and willing to learn Swedish.
· You have a driven personality with the ability to cooperate and excel within a team environment
· You are structured and analytical, and put great emphasis towards environment, quality and safety in work.
