The Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for managing all Indirect Pharm Procurement procedural documents to ensure compliance with all regulatory, financial and legal requirements. Reviews and creates well written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Business Operating Procedures (BOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) based on current needs and input from key stakeholders. Manages maintains procurement BOPs, SOPs, WIs, policies, templates, training documents, and forms in appropriate systems. Ensures procedural documents are periodically reviewed and approved in the system. Participates / leads cross-functional teams to support streamlining of the P2P process, policies and documentation.

The Senior Procurement Analyst owns and manages the RD supplier approval process and Approved Supplier List (ASL). Manages documentation associated with assessments and re-assessments and performs quality checks. Assists Business Partners with Supplier Approval/Removal requests. Provides refresher and on-going Procurement training to Business Partners on a periodic basis. Supports and maintains training records as needed. Reports process and training compliance metrics. Sends communication about Procurement policies procedures, upcoming training, and updates to Business Partners. Serves as a primary procurement operations point of contact for all procurement-related internal and external audits. Works closely with Audit Lead and provides appropriate support and documentation.

Qualifications

A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required. A minimum of 3 years overall business experience is required. Experience with document control systems is preferred. Field or in house industry experience in Pharma or Medical Device is preferred. Previous experience in Quality is preferred. Knowledge of clinical studies is preferred. Knowledge of procurement / contracting process is preferred. Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills are required. Knowledge of SOX, HCC, GxP, and Procurement controls is preferred. Proficency in MS Excel and Power Point is required. Proficency with Sharepoint is preferred.
