Position Summary:
The Senior Product Manager works closely with the Global Head of Product Management to provide idea generation, analysis and execution for the Product Team. They are responsible for helping define the product strategy, developing and implementing creative approaches to assist in the asset gathering process, and collaborating on the development of marketing and other client presentation materials. The person in this role needs to continually evaluate and analyze the asset management landscape to identify trends, regulatory changes, and business opportunities. They will also work closely with several analysts to coordinate generation of data and materials to help meet the Global Liquidity Sales team's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Global Product Head in defining the strategy, goal and direction of the fund complex.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, and product management team to facilitate the sales, marketing, and business management effort.
• Lead the effort to help define, implement and execute the RFP/RFI process.
• Assist in analyzing, defining and implementing the Customized Account/SMA marketing plan.
• Partner with the Liquidity sales team to gain a deep understanding of the marketplace, trends and business drivers.
• Partner with the team on the creation and development of sales presentations, customized client-specific pitch books, and product performance analyses as well as presentation materials in response to market data, economic events or regulatory change.
• Supervise junior analysts as needed.
Skills Required
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
• 8-10 years of industry experience
• Broad deep understanding of money funds, customized accounts and other liquidity products
• Strong analytical skills - comfort managing and analyzing financial data
• Strong computer skills - high level of proficiency in basic tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong teamwork orientation
• Strong client service orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Works effectively and supports a team-oriented approach
• Ability to work under pressure and to manage time effectively
• Series 7, 63 preferred
Additional Qualification:
• Series 7 expected within 4 months of start
