Our client has grown to become a force in the Australian Funds Management industry with a well earned reputation for delivering innovative, high quality investment solutions across a number of asset classes and investment styles.
Working closely with the Head of Product, your mandate will be broad and encompass the development and management of a wide range of managed funds and to provide strategic input into business initiatives and projects with a product component. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Researching and identifying new product ideas and developing business cases and board papers to gain endorsement
- Developing new products in conjunction with Fund Managers and overseeing the entire life cycle from establishment through to PDS and working with Marketing on positioning and collateral
- Recommending changes to existing products in line with business and regulatory requirements
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business including the Investment teams, Finance, Tax, Operations and Distribution
To be successful in this role, you will possess demonstrated product experience gained from within an investment manager, wealth management provider or private bank coupled with a deep understanding of the funds management industry. Experience in product strategy development coupled with experience in writing product related investor communications will be critical to your success. In addition, you will possess outstanding communication skills, commercial nous and the ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
