Posted Position Title: Senior Product Manager - Refrigeration Career Level: Experienced Function Product Management Function Segment: Product Management Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Kentucky City: Louisville Postal Code: 40225-0001 Relocation Assistance Yes Role Summary/Purpose: Work closely with the Side by Side (SxS) Product Manager to lead day to day platform operations and represent the product line in key meetings. Drive execution of 2011 /2012 SxS NPI launches. Interact with cross functional teams, including Technology, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Marketing to deliver both short and long term goals. Essential Responsibilities "Responsibility for the profitability and product line performance for Side by Side refrigeration. Focus on driving improvements in controllable op margin, Net Promoter Score and Service Call Rate. "Lead efforts to deliver required product attributes desired by consumer/customer for the upcoming energy investment for Side by Side refrigeration. "Collaborate with GE Commercial team and customers to develop and execute multi-generation product designs, product plans and new product introductions (NPI). "Interact with cross-functional teams including Tech, Mfg, Sourcing, finance and Marketing to deliver NPI programs. "Engage with suppliers at a strategic level, in conjunction with Sourcing team. "Support commercialization process as new products go to market. "Own Ecomagination recertification for Refrigeration product line on a yearly basis "Execute all Side by Side refrigeration related initiatives. Qualifications/Requirements: "Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. "Minimum of 5 years of product management or commercial experience in a business to consumer type role "Strong communication and influencing skills.
