The role is working for a large international bank based in Canary Wharf and will report into the MD of Product Management.
Job description:
The position manages the corporate-wide profitability of a very large product or a group of products within a product line of GTS.
The position is ultimately responsible for product Operating Plan, product strategy, product revenue, risk management, product development plan and net profitability. You may be required to supervise staff of Product and/or Assistant Product Mangers. The position must integrate the demands, risks and competition of varied markets to develop products solutions in support of Sales. The position champions a national presence and expertise for its products and promotes Product, GTS and Bank-wide strategies through speaking engagements, published articles and leadership visibility in the industry. This position deals with diverse objectives for products delivered via multiple processing centers/systems to diverse markets. GTS's embrace of customer profitability creates the need for SPM control of margin performance, development of profitability strategies for key GTS customers and execution of such strategies in concert with Sales and Operations teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing Treasury Services GBP direct clearing services including RTGS (real time gross settlement) via CHAPS.
