Senior Product Marketing Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage product life cycles from cradle to grave
- Develop near and long term product, channel and market penetration strategies for products and their evolution in targeted markets
- Identify, develop and foster strategic customer relationships and strategic partnerships with customers, distribution partners to accelerate adoption of products
- Act and be viewed as subject matter expert product line internally and externally
- Develop Market Requirements (MRD) strategies for next generation product lines ensure translation of these requirements into compelling, high value products
- Identify target markets channels
- Identify target customers
- Develop product positioning, messaging value proposition
- Conduct market and competitive analysis
- Develop pricing forecasting strategies
- Interface with product development, quality, service and supply chain groups for the product introduction, evolution, cost reduction, and end of life management
- Collaborate with marcom to develop web, media, and advertisement strategies
- Support sales to articulate value proposition products
- Manage responsibility, priorities as well as individual professional development of the marketing team members.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
- BSEE or equivalent degree. MBA a plus
- 10 years+ experience in engineering, product management, or product marketing
- Experience in battery, energy, or electronic components business
- Independent thinker, positive, go-getter attitude
- Ability to interact with and influence cross functional teams and senior management
- Excellent written and verbal skills
