Senior Product & Portfolio Manager – Private Banking recruitment
As the part of this major international bank, our client is looking for a Senior Product Portfolio Manager to join their Private Banking department.
Key roles and responsibility:
- Responsible for supporting all the sales and marketing activities for PB products and portfolio solutions, with a focus on AUM growth investment penetration
- To develop open platform and be responsible for end-to-end product offerings, pricings, continuous monitoring and after sales services to achieve optimum business result
- To monitor sales volume and revenue growth benchmarking to the industry performance
- To formulate market and product strategy and to ensure effective execution to maximize business performance
- To work closely with various business levels and business partners to achieve best return control from the product initiatives
- To consistently review and improve existing product features /services to improve customer experience and stay ahead of competition
- To be aware of and understand business trends in pursuit for the optimum business target
- Collaborate with relevant business partners / cross department product managers to develop products services to meet / create clients’ needs and to drive synergy to facilitate overall growth of the bank, eg. loan syndication, asset securitization
- Generate new product ideas through understanding of client needs and markets
- Keep abreast of competitors’ product offerings to improve our owns
- To liaise with relevant departments subsidiaries to align business proposition and comply with Group Policies Standards
- To ensure the products are compliance with Group operational risk policy and Hong Kong Compliance Requirement in course of actions
Ideal candidates will have:
- 7-10 years solid experience in investment product industry, with experience in portfolio investment product management and sales
- Sound knowledge of financial markets and solutions on multi-asset class
- Proven experience working with Relationship Managers Investment Advisors in a product development/ sales role
- Holder of either CFA/CFP/CAIA
- Strong communication skills: Able to present discuss complicated investment strategy to internal and external audiences
- Good networking with internal product sales teams, as well as external providers
