Senior Product Sales Specialist recruitment
The Business Development Manager will act as a catalyst for management and functional organizations. In pursuit of these responsibilities, the Business Development Manager will work closely with the Field organization (Sales/Sales Engineering and partner organization) to position the company's solutions and value in the Data Center Networking space.
The Specialist will work directly with upper management to communicate information on the developments of new and existing business and the progress being made against Business Plan objectives.
REQUIREMENT
Familiarity with Enterprise IT, Data Center, storage and virtualization solutions; candidate must be able to use that background as the basis for making assessments of the future requirements of the organization's solutions or the impacts that engineering decisions will have on our customers.
- Qualified candidates will have extensive experience selling one or more of the following solution and technology areas:
- Datacenter Storage: data storage designs and components utilized in the current datacenter environment. Understand current storage requirements in the carrier network and how future developments in storage could potentially change the designs of a datacenter. Experience in storage networking including fiber channel, fiber channel over Ethernet, and Infiniband.
- Server Virtualization: server virtualization functionality and solutions; examples include VMware, XEN, and others.
- Datacenter Management and Control: systems including current orchestration solutions from vendors such as IBM, HP; and related products/toolsets from other vendors.
- Datacenter Network Infrastructure Architecture: routing, switching, and network segmentation and virtualization techniques. Knowledge of current designs, an understanding of challenges within the datacenter today and how new designs and products can be utilized to maximize the resources in the datacenter.
- Datacenter Product Management experience is desirable.
- Understanding of IPv4, IPv6, and MPLS is desirable.
- Must be able to apply Juniper products in conjunction with Partners products via solutions, both pre-architected and custom designs.
- Ability to learn technologies quickly, especially with regard datacenter issues.
- History of over achievement of revenue targets.
- Exceptional customer facing skills, in partnership with sales leads and subordinates
- Excellent ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and build consensus.
- Strong ability to work internationally and understand different priorities in various cultures.
- Excellent communicator and public speaker.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.
