Senior Program Analyst
Position Summary:
Provide quality technical, engineering, analytical, and planning support to assist the Advanced Technology Development Prototyping Group in accomplishing its mission in the area of Surface Trajectory-Based Operations. As determined by the FAA, may be required to interface with system integration Contractors, equipment manufacturers, airport personnel, various FAA offices, U.S. Government civilian and DoD organizations, VNTSC, RTCA, NASA, MIT/LL, MITRE CASSD, unions, universities, and international organizations such as Eurocontrol and NAV Canada.
Position Description:
Senior Program Analyst working closely with the Project Lead for Technology Development and Prototyping’s NextGen Surface Prototype System (NSPS) and Surface Decision Support System (SDSS) projects that are primarily focused on maturing Surface Traffic Management (STM) concepts for technical transfer to Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) or possibly other FAA program acquisition offices.
Responsibilities:
Executes top-level design, development, testing, surveying, and troubleshooting of management, organizational and business improvement activities. Works on complex projects requiring original thinking and new approaches. Sets priorities and ensures that the work products conform to customer standards. Assists in project accomplishments and may lead others in significant area of responsibility and monitor activities for a primary functional area involving schedule, planning and tracking of milestone completions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with eight years experience or thirteen years relevant experience.
- Must be able to pass FAA Personnel Suitability Background Check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with greater than eight years experience.
