Senior Programme Manager recruitment

Tier 1 Global Banking organization requires a Senior Programme Manager to drive a number of high profile finance global programmes

You will be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of a group of projects underpinned by a common theme across Finance and Risk.  The programmes will typically be across a number business clusters.

The initial focus of this role will be to address technology support of their regulatory requirements for Recovery and Resolution Planning expected to come into force mid-2013. You will be the programme manager in COO Finance and Risk Services and will be a critical part of a cross-business team that will review structural design, complete impact analysis, review options, identify impediments and address how these should be mitigated and embed business as usual (BAU) processes, including robust testing to meet the regulatory framework.

This initiative covers all businesses across their different global brands. The role will entail working with senior stakeholders including MD Group Risk, Finance Directors, Legal Counsel and Chief Operating Officers for businesses areas.  You will direct, manage and coordinate all aspects of delivery including those aspects provided by 3rd party suppliers, regulators and other external organisations.

Essential

• High profile Programme Manager with extensive Programme Management and delivery experience

• Strong and proven track record of effectively managing large (multi million £ budgets) and complex business and technical programmes with strategic significance via third party suppliers and other delivery channels and within budgetary constraints.

• Proven, first class stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.

• Highly articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication – proven skills in negotiating and influencing.

• Experience of managing significant business change/transformation challenges.

• Full and in depth experience of product vendor evaluations

• Expert in concepts and practices of People Development.

• Proven experience of sharing information and knowledge and developing highly effective working relationships.
