Portal Front-End Developer and Designer
Seeking a senior programmer who can lead and support development of complex applications for institutional clients, managing relationships and communications with internal database and technology colleagues, outside users (including paying clients), and third-party consultants.
- One of the initial projects will be to design and implement a proprietary user privilege and security model for the global business.
- Candidates should have at least 6 years of relevant and complete development lifecycle experience, and 3 years leading projects involving other staff, and be able to proactively communicate project areas such as task prioritization, budget, schedules, builds, and code base management.
- Skills should include object-oriented design, coding, testing and change management on front end user applications, as well as data design and integration.
- Candidate should also have experience in hiring successful programmers.
Specific skills in the following areas preferred:
- Finance and financial services, hedge funds, managed accounts,
- Broad browser compatibilities and reconciliation
- Object oriented design and design patterns
- Java, Javascript, NodeJS, Net Framework, Visual Studio using C#/vb.net/ASP.net, XHTML, CSS, jQuery/Prototype, AJAX, JOSN, DOM scripting, XML/ASLT, W3C.
