Senior Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will work as part of our LibertyWorks team and will manage projects working with US Defense Agencies, Rolls-Royce technologists, and leading air frame manufacturers to develop some of the most advanced technology at Rolls-Royce. Key Accountabilities include the following: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal with focus for this specific assignment more on concept, design, fabrication, test demonstrations, and study of future integration of advanced technologies Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into engineering solutions This specific role will focus on analyzing customers advanced systems needs, working with preliminary design personnel to identify Rolls-Royce solution to these needs, leading the projects associated with determining and evaluation of these solutions, and acting as main customer interface related to this scope Manage delivery of quality proposals Rolls-Royce has a broad customer base comprising 600 airlines, 4,000 corporate and utility aircraft and helicopter operators, 160 armed forces, more than 2,000 marine customers including 70 navies, and energy customers in 120 countries.
