Senior Project Manager – FATCA Implementation (Banking) recruitment
Responsibilities
- Represent Asia to prepare and communicate project status with the global team, regional steering committee, regional working group, and other involved parties
- Facilitate business requirements gathering and analysis
- Facilitate and document further impact assessments
- Document escalated questions and points for technical interpretation via Asia legal counsel, Global PMO and/or Big4 advisory services
- Develop regional project documents (charter, plans, etc.)
- Manage project plans and progress, including scope, schedule and cost
Requirements
- University degree holder (or related discipline)
- Minimum 10 years experience in Project Management in banking industry
- Previous hands on experience in Banking Operations is essential
- Hands on knowledge in FATCA with compliance and/or operational risk experience is a plus
- Prior exposure and experience in compliance projects and environment is an advantage
- Experienced in project management in business process work-flow and system implementation
- Outstanding time management and organizational ability
- Solution oriented and be able to drive tasks independently
- A quick-thinking problem solver with an analytical and critical mindset
- Ability to think broadly and consider impacts across systems and within the organization
- Be collaborative and have ability to work in a team-environment
- Excellent verbal and written command of English and Cantonese
- Immediate available is a definite plus
