Senior Project Manager – Global Investment Bank – Johannesburg, South Africa recruitment
Our client has a strong global presence with established market share across emerging markets and major financial centres. They are currently investing in major growth programmes throughout Africa aimed at expanding their African footprint and further strengthening their South African presence. Global Operations has identified the need for senior project managers who are business-driven and can manage and deliver global programmes across multiple locations, working with senior management stakeholders.
The Project Management roles will include managing all aspects of the full project lifecycle across various functions, such as Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, Risk etc. The portfolio of projects form part of the strategic change agenda of the Bank.
The successful candidate is likely to have the following attributes:
- Educated to a degree level
- Experience working with recognised project management methodologies (Prince2, PMBOK etc)
- Proven project management experience working for a consultancy / financial institution
- Track record of successful project delivery
- Knowledge of investment / retail banking
- Experience in working with, or leading, cross-cultural and multi-location teams
- Applicants to have a background consistent with the requirements of SA immigration regulations
- Ideally but not essentially, the candidate will hold a South African Visa or passport and /or will have worked previously in South Africa.
