Our team needs a strong Senior Project Manager in our Social web services team. If you're the one, here's what you'd be responsible for: You will bring a broad experience of successful delivery of technical projects with budgets greater than one million dollars. You'll be responsible for leading project teams that enable services fueling consumer experiences across products and sites (web mobile) in the areas of 3rd party social API implementation, and internal service development. You'll get to work alongside truly talented teams including multiple business partners, functions, and regions bringing them together to create a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team. You will be the primary linkage between many projects in need of your team's support - and schedule them to fit into rapid delivery windows, release plans, and QA cycles. You must know the team, as well as each individual's core strengths and leverage those assets in an environment that can be ambiguous and challenging. We rely heavily on the Agile methodology, and any experience managing projects with this approach is important. To be considered, you'll bring the following: Experience in managing large project teams that range from product managers and analysts to developers and QA engineers. Experience managing budgets - to include initial estimation, tracking of actuals, and knowing the deviations. Demonstrated ability developing resource plans, coordinating on-boarding of project resources, development and execution of communication plans, and defining and executing risk management plans. Experience working with project sponsors and customers to define business benefits, business requirements, and project scope. Experience with rigorous scheduling at the task level with overall accountability of a program level. Ability to be proactive and communicate status to stakeholders effectively Effectively manage changes against project schedule, scope and cost, as well as lead the assessment of impact on the larger portfolio of projects. Team leadership and ability to inspire and motivate teams Ability to successfully manage project dependencies and constraints. Contract and vendor management success with demonstrated ability to build partnerships across organizational, department, and geographical boundaries.
