Senior Project Manager
Our financial services client is currently recruiting for a senior project manager with detailed FX experience to join their high performing team.
To be successful you will need to have dedicated FX business knowledge (including an understanding of FX products, processes and risk management). A tech background is not required as this role doesn’t sit within that domain specifically (though naturally a large number of projects will impact technology strategy).
Your background can be from either FX middle office, front office or operations. A number of the initial projects though will be centered on clearing so a detailed understanding of that space will be keenly sought.
All core Project management skills will naturally be paramount for a hire of this scale and you will be working under the company’s own project management methodology, so previous training in Prince II or similar will be a necessary requirement.
Other key criteria required by our client include: Relevant experience from a Treasury, Cash Management and/or Funding environment and experience gained within an Exchange and/or Clearing House environment.
Any experience working on regularly managed projects with a wide range of banking systems and standard practices e.g. SWIFT, Banking Payment/Settlement Systems is seen as a positive but not essential.
