The Role:
The primary objective of the Project Manager, Lending, is to Lead project teams to manage and execute the project(s) as per agreed scope, within budget and to customer expectations using the Banks Enterprise-wide project management methodology (PMBOK), toolset and support processes for the Commercial Lending and Asset Finance divisions of our Retail and Business Banking arena.
Specifically, you will be required to carry out the following tasks on a day to day basis:
- Demonstrate your Business and IT knowledge, commercial acumen and experience to drive the successful outcome on numerous Projects up to a value of circa $10M within the Asset Finance and Commercial Lending arena.
- Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery, including IT, teams
- Communicate and report project activities, timelines, impacts and implications to project team members and stakeholders, including customers and program and project delivery (including IT) teams
- Manage all aspects of the project life cycle, including project scope, from project initiation, through planning, execution to project closure
- Track, manage and report expenditure, including Benefits Realisation, against the baseline, budgets and forecasts whilst monitoring variances
The Requirements:
In order to apply for this unique, challenging and highly rewarding opportunity with a high level of exposure to Senior Stakeholders, it is essential that you have worked in a similar capacity within a similar, high activity, busy and large scale operation recently and can demonstrate the following skills:
- Prior experience in managing and driving teams towards common goals on projects in the $5-15M pa range
- Strong Lending knowledge and experience from an IT Business perspective
- In-depth knowledge of project methodologies and SDLC (ideally PMBOK / Agile)
- Solid grounding in IT solution formulation and delivery of complex IT projects
- Excellent Project Management history within the retail banking arena and ideally within the Commercial Lending and / or Asset Finance arena
