Major retail Bank looking for a Senior Project Manager, experienced in the management of complex projects / work streams with a cross functional impact, is required to join their team.

A great opportunity for a project manager to work on fast paced, transformational change programmes within the Retail business which have wide organisation and industry reach.

The role will involve leading large projects or work-streams of programmes that deliver step changes in the services and solutions we offer our customers and colleagues. With responsibility for change budgets of up to £10m and co-ordinating large cross functional teams.

The role will be demanding and requires a project manager who thrives on tight deadlines, finding creative solutions, engaging and leading others to achieve a challenging goal and who has a passion for delivering to high standards.

The current organisation change agenda provides a great range of assignments including many industry leading initiatives, offering extensive opportunities for self development and career progression and working with like minded individuals from across the group who thrive on making a difference.

Main Accountabilities
*Identify and mobilise appropriate resources, develop the delivery roadmap, and establish a project structure and governance framework.
*Use the established change management methodologies to control, manage and monitor project timescales, budgets and dependencies.
*Lead and ensure changes in organisation design, business processes and procedures, training and communications are embedded in the organisation.
*Ensure regular status reporting to stakeholders and escalation as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs
*Continuously monitor projects for risks, issues and regulatory compliance and take appropriate steps to address or mitigate such issues or risks
*Lead, prioritise and supervise the day-to-day activities of assigned team members. Coach and support development of team members to achieve higher performance.

*A confident and articulate communicator with the ability to deliver challenging messages and influence stakeholders at all levels
*Good level of consultancy skills and sound business judgement, understanding of a number of techniques to solve problems
*Able to translate technical concepts, issues, options into business implications and consequences for executive guidance
*Strives for mutually beneficial solutions, negotiates and gains consensus to reach agreement.
