The Company
A multi-national financial institution is urgently looking for a Senior Project Manager black belt for their project, initially on a 12 month contract.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will report into Head of Programme Office and will engage in the following:
- Establish, lead and motivate the project team to deliver against project plan, monitor progress and take action to ensure delivery remains on track
- Lead the training and developing of the project managers, business analysts and process owners in the skills and techniques required for project management
- Incorporate benefits and Sigma tracking into the project to ensure that the benefits and quality are monitored accurately
- Assist the Project Sponsor in indentifying new projects
- Incorporating benefits tracking into the project
- Integrate activities and manage interdependencies of the project
- Manage the account of the project, therefore ensure that all project costs are budgeted, forecasted, accrued and charged
- Communicate to all project stakeholders
Your Profile
To qualify as a Senior Project Manager for this role, you MUST have:
- At least 10 years of solid project management experience
- PMP or Prince2 qualified or related qualification
- Bachelor degree or above in Business Finance, IT or related disciplines+
- You will have experience in managing project managers and business analyst
- Strong knowledge of financial services
- Experience on integration projects
- Worked in financial services and managed large scale projects
- Very strong knowledge of project management control procedures
- Very strong skills in Change Management and resolution skills for disputes
- Immediately available is highly preferred and will be considered first
