Job Family Summary Clinical Operations supports the education and management of the implementation process of Alaris systems, and the clinical support for corporate and field teams. The group is also responsible for raising awareness among health care professionals of the use of technology to prevent medication errors and streamline distribution and workflow processes. The Clinical Operations department identifies and shares clinical best practices to help achieve the higheset possible levels of patient and caregiver safety and product utilization.
Accountabilities
- The Project Manager is responsible for the maintenance of customer relationships in assigned accounts in the Western United States, maintaining a high level of customer service at or above expectations, and demonstrating accountability for their part in the CareFusion Sales Process.
- The Project Manager manages the implementation and evaluation of infusion products at customer sites through the development of timelines and facilitation and scheduling of internal and external resources.
- Manages multiple implementation projects through project life cycle; including pre-sale activity, coordination of multidisciplinary team for product implementation, and post implementation customer follow-up.
- Focus is on productivity in implementation and customer satisfaction. Serves as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementations process and supports System Sales Consultants as project point of contact in evaluation of the infusion system.
- Coordinates and drives execution plans of highly skilled professional matixed multidisciplinary teams that are internal and external to the organization to ensure a timely and seamless transition for our customers.
- Coordinates communication flow throughout the team and customer. Manages timelines, costs, resources, and reports status and progress plan management through reports. Identifies and reviews resource requirements.
- Coordinates shipping internally and communicates delivery information to the customer.
- Identifies potential project delays and develops action plans for at risk points in the process and implements strategies.
- Maintains all documents related to the project and uploads documents to the appropriate location for maintenance and storage.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum 8 - 12 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in impementation and project management in a hospital setting is desirable.
- Process Improvement methodology knowledge preferable.
- Demonstrated project and team management experience in field setting.
- Frequent travel is required. Overnight and air travel is a requirement.
- Candidate can live anywhere in the Western US.
