Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Technology
About the Role
In this integral role within Macquarie's Enterprise Technology Division, you will utilise your extensive Project Management experience and be accountable for high profile programs to be delivered within scope, on time and within budget whilst ensuring quality objectives are exceeded.
Examples of projects you will work on would include desktop deployments, global security/data/voice networking, infrastructure refresh of core services due to End Of Life, Unix / Wintel server/application deployments, delivery of group-wide database version upgrades, implementation of specific infrastructure solutions for business applications.
In this role you will be required to:
- Work with the Senior Stakeholders both within technology and aligned to the business and ensure strong communication channels are maintained.
- Manage external vendors.
- Develop concise project plans, resource plans and project progress reporting
- Manage budget scope, schedules and resources
- Establish and manage appropriate Steering Committees and Working Groups
- Identify resource requirements and work with Program Sponsors to assign resources
- Manage overall strategic project risks, issues, financials, and benefits realisation
- Provide team leadership which will include setting objectives, monitoring performance, developing a strong team culture and providing mentorship and guidance as required.
- Manage or participate in any post-project reviews, and report on lessons learned as part of overall process improvement
- Ensure quality standards and a high level of professionalism is maintained at all times whilst ensuring adherence to process and responsibilities as outlined in the Project Management methodology.
About You
You will have:
- Extensive Project Management experience ideally with IT infrastructure services e.g. Windows, Unix, Networks, Desktop within the financial services sector
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology projects
- Strong Financial management experience
- Complex problem solving skills and a broad understanding of infrastructure technology
- Effective Senior Stakeholder engagement skills within both business and technology
- Collaborative and strong communication skills whilst being outcome focussed and a self starter
- PMP Certification (Or similar)
