Senior Project Manager – Finance IT – General Ledger
Senior Project Manager required with a Finance IT Background to join a global transformation programme, working specifically within the Finance Workstream. You will be responsible for the IT delivery of the new GL system which is currently at Vendor selection stage. There are other worsktreams but this role is focused purely on the Finance element. From a project perspective they are about to go to various vendors and start the selection process with a view to going live in Jan14. They require a seasoned Project Manager now though as they would like someone to ber involved in the eearly stages. Looking further down the line, you will have ownership of the entire technical delivery perspective, including managing a team of 10-20 people, the vendors (internal external) and the in-house staff. Experience wise you will need to demonstrate a proven delivery record and have worked on GL/General Ledger implementations, ideally with experience of being part of a vendor selection process.
