The Salmat Customer Contact Solutions division is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a key Contact Centre clients. Reporting to the Head of the Project Management Office, this new role has been created on the basis of a 6 month contract, where the Senior Project Manager will be charged with the responsibility of managing the end-to-end delivery of internal and client-facing projects, providing leadership in all aspects of project delivery and participant accountability. In this key role you will act on behalf of the PMO to drive the progress and outcomes in all scheduled project objectives.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with the ability to influence, build relationships, negotiate, work under pressure and apply analytical skills to the delivery of key projects. Experience within the contact centre industry will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver quality business outcomes, ensuring that projects are delivered within given timeframes, budgets, meet user requirements and appropriately handed over to operations
- For client-facing projects you will liaise with the Sales team to assist in the drafting of the indicative plan for delivery
- Control project design and planning activities
- Define, source manage necessary project resources
- Develop and control project schedules to ensure that necessary activities are completed according to the project plan
- Prepare project budgets, attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner, monitoring and tracking project financials and the realisation of defined project benefits
- Establish, manage and report on project budgets, analysing budget variances and recommending appropriate action
- Manage customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction through the application of stakeholder management disciplines
- Develop and manage vendor contracts and agreements associated with projects under management
- Report weekly on project status including health, progress, issues, risks and achievements
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Senior level project management experience will be key to be successful in this role
- Project management experience within the contact centre industry will be highly regarded
- Excellent understanding and application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement and integration
- Strong understanding and application of change management competencies
- Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets
- Effective leadership, co-ordination, motivational, negotiation, and dispute resolutions skills
- Ability to influence and build productive relationships with industry providers and stakeholders
- Ability to work with limited direction and under pressure and to manage complex situations
- Ability to manage the competing demands of multiple, simultaneous projects
- Demonstrated experience in a service-oriented environment
- Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies
