Senior Project Manager – Market Risk recruitment
This strategic programme has a number of deliverables which include consolidation of Risk Engines across all Global Markets, improved market risk production, streamlined standardised business process and the build out of a shared data warehouse for risk finance.
Main Responsibilities
- Take on accountability for planning, structuring, leading and executing key projects.
- Facilitate the definition of the projects (scope, goals and deliverables).
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and programme/project team members.
- Assemble and coordinate project team track deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Provide direction and support to project teams.
- Monitor and report on progress of the projects to the agreed stakeholders.
- Maintain, manage and escalate stream/project issues.
- Carry out project evaluations and assessment of results.
- Provide input into the business process definition for each release/implementation

Qualification Experience:
- Extensive systems implementation experience within Capital Markets
- Extensive knowledge of Project Management skills and techniques
- Track record of delivering projects that are closely aligned with business users/goals
- Proven skills in dealing with detailed and broad-ranging issues which are time-bound
- Good Market Risk knowledge
- Must be a delivery-focused, pragmatic, team player
- Must be able to communicate effectively across a range of disciplines and levels within the organisation
- Must be able to assess situations quickly and drill down to the core of the problem
- Ability to generate pragmatic low-risk potential solutions
- Ability to prioritise issues and manage User expectations
