Senior Project Manager / Program Manager – Internal consulting for top tier investment bank. Derivatives projects with exposure to  infrastructure testing. Coming from a consultancy background consultancy background now in investment banking (10-15 years+ experience) with a strong understanding of structured program management in the banking arena. A proven track record of successfully managing large, complex, global programs within a banking environment, typically at departmental level (10-15 years experience) Proven organizational, leadership management skills with PMO experience in addition. To move along 2-3 other internal projects acting as an internal consultant. Potential to work across various business areas, eg derivatives equities fixed income etc with exposure to infrastructure testing etc. Ability to communicate effectively to senior managers/Managing Director level. Ability to produce clear, concise reporting. Solid strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution decision making skills within consultancy internal Consultancy. Able to demonstrate understanding ability to perform risk analysis management tasks. Strong presentation communication skills. Strong MS Project Skills.

Essential:
College/University under-graduate degree, PMP certified or other program/project management qualifications.

Role:-
1) The position is for a senior Program Manager for the Investment Banking IT Production Shared Testing Services Group Transformation Program. A change in Investment Banking strategy has created a more client-centric, capital-efficient, flow-based technology-dependent business model. The significant challenge for Investment Banking IT is to deliver support platform requirements efficiently given time to market margin pressures. The importance of platform stability IB IT's client service capabilities to the franchise is heightened as IB develops its multi-asset electronic trading eCommerce offerings. The Project Transformation Group, PTG,  is a key part of IT IB Transformation to meet IB's business strategy demands for client service platform stability while improving software delivery effectiveness containing  cost growth.

2) Basel III Consultant – a second role for the same class of individual with a background in consultancy both external internal, now .delivering high profile projects in investment banks. within Basel II / Basel III – Facilitating change, delivering Compliance projects etc    

This includes the following but is not limited to:
Facilitate decisions to define new organizational model. Propose role, service, process models to enable the same. Create a comprehensive transition strategy with appropriate staged gates for stakeholder involvement other related communications. Act as a single point of contact provide governance for various technical processes to enable the transition.

These are very high profile roles for individuals with a management consultancy background who can demonstrate successful delivery of quality project execution where they have been directly responsible for rescuing delivering various projects also with change experience
