Title: Senior Project Manager / Program Manager Location: null Other Locations: null CIBER has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager/Program Manager that will be located in Orlando, FL. Employee will be responsible for providing program manager oversight in regards to the delivery of several projects in conjunction with a large strategic program. Employee will work with various project managers insuring that timelines are in sync and stay in sync with the overall delivery of the strategic program. * Build relationships with key client stakeholders * Conduct discovery sessions with clients to determine initial solution requirements * Conceptualize solution approach with team and translate into formal scope statements * Create Work Breakdown Structures for proposed engagements * Lead estimation workshops to determine level of effort for proposed engagements * Merge WBS and estimates into baseline project schedules with leveled resource plans * Write formal proposals that clearly specify scope, schedule and cost of engagement * Contribute to the PMO to ensure that solutions are delivered efficiently * Define and manage implementation timelines * Create, maintain, and monitor detailed implementation timelines * Prioritize and assign tasks to team members * Produce regular status reports on progress by milestone and emerging issues * Meet regularly with management, project teams, and functional team leaders to review status, advise, and resolve problems * Determine and define best solutions for meeting requirements * Plan high level, long-term project direction/needs. * Work closely with the implementation sponsor * Participate in identifying the resources required for project * Communicate resource needs in support of the implementation * Assist module team leaders with cost/benefit analysis and impact of proposed modifications * Identify and communicate potential implementation risks and mitigations * Identify and communicate potential opportunities * Supervise and/or perform detailed testing and installation of systems and modifications: including hardware, operation systems, software and peripheral equipment to ensure smooth transitions with no loss of revenue or data. Required Skills: * PMP certification or formal education in Project Management required * Five to eight years experience in project management role required * Experience in managing large, complex system implementation projects * Experience using project management software (such as MS Project) to create detailed project work plans from tasks, task durations, resources and dependencies * Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff * Experience in the Consulting Services Industry * Experience in performing all phases of the SDLC, with an emphasis on analysis and design * Experience scoping engagements and leading estimation work plan development efforts * Excellent facilitation skills with experience
