Position Description:
Morgan Stanley's Credit Risk Department is seeking a strong PMO/BA. The successful hire will be responsible to:

• Act as a central PMO in charge of Credit Risk Management Department's projects management and coordination
• Manage work streams, identifying and managing risks as necessary and escalating issues to senior management when required.
• Assemble and guide project working groups through problem definition, issue identification, and work plan development. Must have strong initiative and confidence to lead workshops and meetings.
• Put together high quality business requirement documents (BRDs). Responsible for obtaining requirements sign-off from the appropriate parties.
• Create and execute test plans to ensure system applications meet user and technical specifications.
• Provide pre and post implementation support, including user education.

Skills Required:
• Ability to manage medium to large projects using industry standard project management practices
• Actual experience within either a well regarded risk management consultancy or a financial institution (this should include relevant credit risk management experience).
• Experience in designing, specifying and/or implementing technology solutions within a risk management area, including MIS solutions. Actual experience in all stages of the project life cycle, e.g. planning, requirements gathering, design documentation, testing and roll out.
• Ability to produce professional quality graphic illustrations of processes and graphical user interfaces.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate will be required to communicate clearly and concisely, and depending on the audience (e.g. business users vs. developers), adapt the communication style.
• Solid understanding of credit risk concepts, including credit risk policies, and metrics; familiar with credit risk management workflows
• Knowledge of OTC derivatives and/or Loan products
• Experience in dealing with complex data sets and data manipulation.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements including Basel II, etc.
