Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst recruitment
Forming part of the Global Collateral Management is the Change Management function, currently London based but with global reach for supporting Collateral Management and the Client Valuations Group. The team focuses on business driven, strategic and tactical change initiatives The team provides Project Managers and Business Analysts accountable for delivery, from start to finish, of global projects across all asset classes.
Main Duties
- Contributing to the project initiation stage, when the project is defined, scoped, planned and the business case (cost/benefit analysis) is developed and agreed with business users.
- Working with user representatives to determine business requirements. This must involve a thorough consideration of all implications of these requirements, including the identification of any potential issues or functional omissions.
- Document the analysis carried out (e.g. the production of process flows, use cases and scenarios).
- Working in partnership with IT groups as a central point of contact to convert requirements into specification; act as the bridge between the business IT.
- Identification and management of issues/risks with appropriate timely escalation.
- Co-ordination of User Acceptance Testing, agreeing approach, testing documentation and resources with users IT Teams.
- Provide go-live and post implementation support.
- Contribute to the projects team intellectual capital.
- As in all project roles, a high degree of flexibility is required. Projects may involve long hours at critical stages in the project lifecycle.
Essential
- Previous experience of completing interpreting business focussed data analysis.
- A good understanding application of project implementation and lifecycle methodologies
- Good track record of execution and results, high level of drive to meet deadlines and targets.
- Good business analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise, be flexible and respond to changing environments.
- Strong internal relationship management skills – this role requires interaction across many areas of the organisation, the ability to relate to people and work in ad-hoc teams is critical.
- Attention to detail, delivering high quality output
- Previous projects experience in some of the following areas; treasury funding, collateral management, collateral optimisation and/or prime services.
- Experience in process improvement analysis and business process reengineering.
- Good knowledge of investment banking processes and Operations
- Detailed specific product knowledge of OTC derivative products
- Knowledge of ongoing changes in OTC derivative market
- Experience within an Investment Bank
Business Skills Knowledge:
- Broad knowledge of Capital Markets banking products
- Analytical skills. Ability to think logically to analyse problems
- Strong time management and ability to coordinate with various teams to action items
- Self-starting team player, able to demonstrate initiative and work under little supervision, to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.
