SENIOR PROPOSITION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER recruitment
The role is to drive and manage the Company’s platform business, with specific responsibility for product development strategy, profitability, customer acquisition and retention. The successful candidate will have collegiate responsibility for the delivery of the Company strategy by ensuring ‘right first time’.
Core Responsibilities:
- Define, develop and implement the platform product strategy consistent with objectives of the strategic plan and budget.
- Develop and maintain a product profitability and customer segmentation model in line with the strategy of the Company.
- Define, develop and implement the platform marketing plan in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Communications PR Manager in order to execute the strategy, whilst contributing to Company overall marketing strategy and plan.
- Direct responsibility for PL of platform business in order to deliver future profitability.
- Define, develop and implement customer retention strategy for the platform business.
- Proactively identify and deliver business opportunities arising as a result of market or regulatory changes.
- Proactively support the Operations team to provide and disseminate product technical information and work with the teams to ensure product servicing is delivered ‘right first time’.
- Work with Sales Distribution team collegiately to ensure the distribution strategy is appropriately aligned across all channels, fit for purpose and drives profitability.
- Work with Sales Distribution team to gain a clear understanding of competitors’ strategy and impact on the platform business.
- Define, develop and implement appropriate MI for the platform business.
- As a member of the Senior Management team, you will be expected to participate fully in the Company Governance structure. As such, you will be required to familiarise yourself with the relevant terms of reference and responsibilities, participate by attendance, report and challenge at meetings, and accept collegiate responsibility for decisions made.
- Key Regulatory Responsibilities:
- Sign-off product documentation and promotional material in line with regulatory requirements for the platform business.
- To ensure that the platform strategy meets both the letter and spirit of the regulatory requirements.
- To report to the Marketing Director, the Company and the Head of Compliance Risk, any risks that are not already recognised and recorded.
- To report, both to the Marketing Director, the Company and the Head of Compliance Risk, any actual operational risk events or “near misses” that occur.

Core Requirements:
- Proven track record and experience of financial services product development.
- Platform /wrap experience essential.
- Experience of leading strategic level discussions.
- Sharedealing Product Marketing experience, ideally ISAs SIPPs.
- Proven experience of successfully managing a PL budget.
