Senior Provider Data Specialist
Position Description:
The Senior Provider Data Specialist is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Senior Provider Data Specialists develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles.

Positions in the Function are responsible for assisting in the selection and marketing of network strategies by providing analytical support and clearly communicating with internal departments on customer requirements and network advantages. This includes analysis of network data including: review of data available; completion of required reports; coordination with external partners for information not currently available; and delivery of the network solution and supporting documentation. Positions in the Function are responsible for providing technical assistance surrounding collection and maintenance of our network data.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 3-5 years of experience working within a corporate environment; i.e. someone who has worked within an office type setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; i.e. Word - creating and editing request for proposals; Excel - creating formulas, sorting and filtering, creating spreadsheets; Access - defining tables and queries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, i.e. this person will be heavily involved with communicating with different departments in order to follow through and complete tasks
Assets:
- Familiarity with the Ingenix product application is preferred; i.e. Geonetworks
